The SA Edgewood Lions Club is hosting its second annual Academic Scholarship Festival on
Saturday, February 15, 2025.
It will take place at the Burleson School for Innovation and Education, located at 534 Cordelia Street.
The Contests will begin at 9:00 AM
There are four different contests. They are open to any student attending any of the Edgewood ISD High Schools. Students may enter multiple contests. (As long as they submit a completed packet for each contest)
Each contest winner will be awarded $1000.00 and the runner-up will be awarded $500.00 per contest. The Winner will have the opportunity to advance to the next level to compete for more scholarship money.
The Four contests are:
- Outstanding Youth Contest
- Diabetes Awareness Essay Contest
- Drug Awareness Speech Contest
- Young Women’s Scholarship Pageant
A common Application along with Rules packets for each contest are attached. You must submit a different application for each contest that you enter.
Deadline to submit all completed packets will be Monday, February 3, 2025
